Our Center

In the living heart of the Amazon rainforest, the Kukama Ancestral Wisdom Center – Usurpaki Healing DAS offers a sacred sanctuary where time slows down and nature gently guides your healing journey. Surrounded by the whispering wind in the trees, the sacred songs of birds, and the flowing waters of the jungle, this is a place to reconnect deeply with yourself and the Earth.

Just 50 minutes from Iquitos, nestled beside a serene creek that flows into the rivers of the Amazon, our center harmonizes with the rhythm of the rainforest. We host a maximum of 12 guests at a time in 12 rustic cabins, ensuring an intimate, personalized experience where your healing process is honored and supported with care.

Our work is rooted in the guidance of plant teachers, sacred allies of the jungle that open the heart, awaken ancestral memory, and illuminate the path to balance and inner transformation. Ceremonies are held in our traditional maloca, guided by the ancestral wisdom of the Kukama people. Every aspect of the environment becomes part of your process—the medicine songs, the sounds of the jungle, the earth beneath your feet, the waters that carry messages of flow and release.

This is a place to quiet the noise of the outside world, rest your soul, and remember your connection to Mother Earth. In the stillness of the forest, surrounded by the ancient spirit of the land, you are invited to return to your essence and allow your inner healing to blossom.

Scheduled ayahuasca ceremonies are held Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Rate includes meals, accommodation, flower baths, rape, kambo, and other medicines

Short stays or long-term dietas are available.

Our humble accommodations offer an authentic opportunity to truly immerse yourself in nature. The open-air tambos allow for a natural flow of fresh air, while the sounds of the jungle—birds, rustling leaves, and distant wildlife—create a symphony that soothes the soul. In the dry season, the bugs are minimal, but you may find that you share your space with some curious jungle creatures!

We don’t have electricity or running water, but each day, our staff ensures your cistern is filled so you can comfortably flush your indoor toilet. Every room is equipped with a writing desk, providing a peaceful space for journaling and reflection. For more details on what to pack, please visit our FAQ page.

Please keep in mind that Usurpaki Healing DAS is a traditional healing center nestled in the heart of the Amazon jungle, offering an authentic experience with a lineage-based shaman. During your time here, we encourage you to embrace the peace of silence and disconnect from the outside world. With no internet or cell service, this is the perfect opportunity to fully unwind and focus on your inner journey. Your days will be spent in personal reflection, journaling, reading, and immersing yourself in the healing energy of nature. While some knowledge of Spanish can be helpful, it is not required, as our team is here to support you in every way possible.

Food as Silent Medicine in the Path of Dieta

At Healing DAS, we understand that the process of dieta with master plants goes far beyond the sacred medicine itself. Every aspect of daily life becomes part of the healing journey, and food holds a vital place in this sacred path of transformation.

During dieta, the meals we provide are simple, natural, and carefully prepared. They are not just physical nourishment—they are an energetic and spiritual support that aligns with the deep inner work taking place. We remove seasonings, sugars, salt, fats, and stimulants to allow the body to empty itself of excess and become more receptive to the messages of the master plant.

Food during dieta is silent medicine: it cleanses, balances, sustains, and accompanies—without disturbance. It is an offering of respect to the body and spirit, and a way of honoring the ancestral wisdom that guides us.

Eating with awareness, calm, and gratitude strengthens the connection with the plants, with nature, and with one’s own essence. In this way, each bite becomes part of the ceremony, and every meal becomes a bridge to deeper healing.
